Alcatel launches two new budget smartphones presented at CES 2021: the features and price of Alcatel 3L and Alcatel 1S
Alcatel returns with the 2021 models of the 3L and 1S smartphones. Key feature of the devices: attractive performance and affordable prices for all pockets. The focus is on the smart camera and an immersive viewing experience that captures the user's attention.
The Alcatel 3L model was unveiled at CES 2021, the world's most important technology and electronics event of the year. Among the two devices produced by Alcatel, it shows itself as the one with the most advanced technical features, for an all-round use despite the very low cost. On the other hand, the 2021 version of Alcatel 1S is a smartphone with fully entry level features, but it has a smart activity management system to constantly optimize performance during all the activities carried out by the system throughout the day.
Alcatel 3L and 1S, the strength is in the camera
With an AI camera with a 48MP primary sensor, and a pair of 2MP sensors with an equal number of lenses for depth and macro, the Alcatel 3L allows you to take high-resolution photos without brightness issues, even where light is scarce, thanks to the 4-in-1 big pixel sensor. On the front side, on the other hand, there is a lens with an 8MP sensor, enabled with HDR and Face Tracking functionality. Everything is handled by algorithms that allow you to identify 22 different scenes, with automatic adjustment of the settings.
Triple module for Alcatel 1S as well: the rear camera has, in fact, a 13MP main lens with AI, plus the 2MP pair for depth and macro. It has a PDAF quick focus system, while on the front side the camera is HDR-enabled. There are built-in AI algorithms on this model as well, capable of automatically adjusting settings for satisfying results and shots.
Alcatel 3L and 1S, technical specifications
From the brain point of view of these two Alcatel smartphones, we find an octa-core processor and 4GB of RAM on Alcatel 3L, for streaming and gaming even in HD, while for Alcatel 1S the octa-core chip is associated with 3GB of RAM and a 4000mAh battery. The Face Key function and fingerprint scanning allow you to safely keep the data stored on your device. The operating system is Android 11 and does not lack the button dedicated to Google Assistant, present on the 3L model that allows you to call the Big G's helper quickly at any time.
Display 20:9 6.52-inch HD+ resolution and screen-to-body ratio of 88.5%, these two devices offer eye protection through different viewing modes that adapt to the brightness and use of the device. On the back, however, the 2.5D curved glass makes the grip more secure and comfortable.
Alcatel 3L and 1S, launch prices
The two new smartphones made by Alcatel have already been launched on the market with a really low-cost price. Alcatel 3L is available in two colors, Jewelry Black and Jewelry Blue, at the recommended price of 154.90 euros.
