Amazon ha reso disponibile anche in Italia una funzionalità molto utile: la possibilità di fare chiamate e videochiamate di gruppo sfruttando i suoi dispositivi Echo ed Echo Show. Cioè lo gli smart speaker e smart display di Amazon, che sono in grado di connettersi tra loro sia da una stanza all’altra della casa che da remoto.
La grande novità, però, è che adesso è possibile connettere fino a 7 dispositivi contemporaneamente, purché siano tutti dispositivi Amazon. Amazon group video calls: compatible devices
To make group video calls with Amazon you need all the users you want to call to have an Amazon Echo, Echo Dot or Echo Show device. Of course, with Echo and Echo Dot there is no video, so you will only be able to make a simple audio call, but you will still be able to participate in a group video call, only you won't see the others and the others won't see us.

How to make video calls on Amazon
Making a video call with Amazon is very simple: simply have one of the seven participants create a group, putting everyone else in it, and then call the group.
To create a group you need to open the Alexa app for Android or iOS, go to "Communication", tap on the icon in the upper right corner (the one shaped like a little man) and then choose "Add Action" and "Add Group". At this point we can choose which members to include in the group, and then give it a name and save it.
Once the group is formed, we can call it using voice commands: "Alexa, call [group name]". If we have an Echo Show available we will launch a video call, if we have an Echo or Echo Dot we will launch an audio only call.
