Amazon, new return policy: what’s changing for Prime Day

Amazon lengthens time to make product returns: less shopping worries during Prime Day 2020

Amazon is changing its return policies for purchased products again this year, extending the period for returns beyond the timeframe normally available to all shoppers. All products purchased from October 1 until December 31, 2020 included can be sent back until January 31, 2021, a period of time that goes well beyond the usual 30 days of reconsideration.

The news will certainly please all those who are used to shopping on the site dedicated to e-commerce of Jeff Bezos, especially in view of the upcoming golden periods for purchases. In fact, there are only a handful of days to Amazon Prime Day, or the two days of offers on 13 and 14 October that will see discounts dedicated to all members of the system of rapid delivery (and not only) of Amazon, and just over a month to Black Friday, together with Cyber Monday, are attested every year as golden moments for purchases and the first gifts in view of the holiday season.

Amazon: how to benefit from the extended return

The procedure for returning products is always the same. If, once the product is delivered at home, there are problems or it does not respect the description on the site (or another of the many reasons that Amazon allows you to choose when opening the practice of return), you can ask for a refund and receive all the information to send the package back to the distribution centers distributed throughout the territory.

In any case, to know the exact timing of return for each of the products purchased in this period of time you can always consult the page dedicated to orders. From the screen, it will then be possible to check the last date to submit the request, providing all the necessary information to make the whole process even faster and easier.

The same return procedure is extended to all purchases made on Amazon, including those for which we have taken advantage of a coupon.

Amazon: all the dates for discounted purchases

As already anticipated, the first useful dates to take advantage of the discounts of the shopping giant are October 13 and 14 for Amazon Prime Day. Concluded the two days, which will be characterized mainly by the flash offers, for new discounts will have to wait until the week of November 27, the date of Black Friday.

As already happened in the past, the offers of Black Friday that follows Thanksgiving celebrated in the United States could extend until the following Monday, the so-called Cyber Monday, a day mainly dedicated to discounts on technology products. The last date is then that of December 26, when the Christmas buzz is over and prices go back down again for the joy of the wallet.
