Apple has unveiled some new features coming later this year: including Apple One, the new discounted all-inclusive service package
"All together. Even better," reads the page on Apple's website dedicated to Apple One. It will certainly be for the fans of the Cupertino company that have been claiming for a long time a package of all-inclusive services at a more affordable cost than the amount that users pay to subscribe to all Apple services.
After the rumors of the last days, the official news arrived during the Time Flies event on September 15. Apple One brings together four services into one subscription, offering at a reasonable price the best of entertainment offerings and also additional storage space: Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade and iCloud. By choosing the Family plan, the subscription can be shared with five other people. Among the services included, will also come the new Fitness+, designed to offer personalized workouts in various disciplines and monitoring of performance and parameters with the new Apple Watch Series 6 and Apple Watch SE.
Apple One, the subscription features
For the Italian market Apple One will give the possibility to access Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade and iCloud Drive in a single package. In particular, in Italy it will be possible to subscribe to an Individual Plan with the 4 services (with 50GB on iCloud) or a Family Plan with the 4 services (with 200GB on iCloud). The Family Plan will be able to be shared with members of the In Famiglia group, up to a maximum of 5 users.
As for the Premier Plan, at least for the moment it will not be available in Italy, but only in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. The difference with the Individual Plan and the Family Plan concerns the offer of 2 additional integrated services, Apple News+ and Fitness+, with the iCloud Drive space reaching 2TB and the possibility of sharing up to a maximum of 6 users.
Apple One, when it arrives and how much it costs
The entire package of services will arrive by fall 2020 and will be usable from all Apple devices, from the web (through streaming devices) or from smart TVs enabled for the TV+ and Apple Music services. As for Apple Music, it will also be possible to use it from Android devices.
Apple One Individual will have a starting price in Italy of 14.95 euros per month, with a saving of 6 euros on the purchase of individual services. Apple One Family, on the other hand, will be available from 19.95 euros per month, with a saving of 8 euros. The Premier Plan will be available in the market at $29.95 per month, but there is no indication yet on the date of arrival in Italy.
