Asus launches the ZenFone 6 on May 16: on board the Snapdragon 855 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Dual rear camera
We are now less than two weeks away from the event in Valencia, Spain, during which Asus' new top-of-the-line 2019 smartphone, the ZenFone 6, will be presented, but the Taiwanese company has already released an official teaser of the front of this device that is intriguing a lot of fans of the brand and beyond.
Based on this curiosity is the design: no notch on the screen, which has very thin bezels. Consequently, the question arises: where [ inserted the front camera of the Asus ZenFone 6? Asus obviously looks forward to answering at this time, to raise the expectation towards his new device, and reincarnates the dose with the slogan "Defy ordinary", that is "Defy the ordinary". Asus ZenFone 6: pop up camera or dual slide?
The novelty of the ZenFone 6 could be the use of a pop up front camera. That, however, would only be new for Asus since this mechanism seems to have a moment of glory in high-end smartphones today. Far more innovative would be the dual-slide design, speculated a couple of weeks ago following the leak of photos of an alleged ZenFone 6 prototype. In this prototype, the front camera is hidden in the body and is accessible from the upper slide, while the lower one hides a large Harman Kardon speaker.
Asus ZenFone: rear design
What we can instead give almost for certain is the design of the rear of the smartphone Asus ZenFone 6. Always two weeks ago Asus has in fact filed with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) American some technical specifications of this phone also attaching a scheme of layout of the rear. From the schematic you can see two camera holes positioned horizontally at the top of the device, with what looks like an LED flash in the middle.

Always from the documents filed with the FCC we already know a good part of the technical characteristics of the Asus ZenFone 6 smartphone: Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC processor with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, dual rear camera, battery with 18 Watt fast charging and FHD+ screen with still unknown diagonal and FullHD+ resolution. As for the price, however, no credible rumors. However, if Asus will want to follow the line already drawn in the past with its previous top of the range devices then the ZenFone 6 will also be priced very competitively against the competition.
