Today with smartphones we can do so many things and it is very convenient to download one or more of these apps for your job search. Of apps to find jobs there are so many and most of the times, we can find ourselves in difficulty in choosing which are the most reliable and the best apps. In this article you'll find all the possible information and everything you need, to identify the best apps to search for jobs. Read our advice, you won't regret it.
App to find a job InfoJobs
As you already know, to download an application, you have to go to the Play Store if your cell phone's operating system is Android, otherwise if you have an iPhone you have to go to the App Store.
As we have already said, there are many applications for job search and all of them arise accordingly to the various corresponding websites. The first one we choose to recommend you is InfoJobs, one of the oldest job search websites. Its app can be downloaded free of charge from both Android and iOS. Nel tuo account personale potrai creare il tuo curriculum vitae e potrai candidarti direttamente per le offerte di lavoro che ti interessano. Per prima cosa ti verrà chiesto se vuoi cercare offerte di lavoro in Italia e dopo potrai cliccare sul tasto "registrati". Potrai scegliere di registrarti, attraverso "crea il tuo account", in 2 modi:
- Tramite il tuo account Google, in automatico verranno presi i tuoi dati e utilizzati per la registrazione, alla fine premi sul tasto "continua";
- Registrazione manuale, dovrai inserire manualmente tutti i dati che ti verranno richiesti: nome, cognome, email e password e alla fine premi sul tasto "continua".
Per completare il processo di registrazione, ti verranno chiesti altri dati personali, per esempio: sesso, data di nascita, città e provincia, numero di telefono, codice avviamento postale, ecc. All this information will be saved by pressing the "save" button. You will also have to indicate other information, such as: if you are looking for a job, if you already have experience, all using the "yes" or "no" buttons. To continue, press "save" so that you can store all the information about your working life in your profile.
If you have previous work experience, you will be asked to indicate some details to find out more, such as the name of the company, the job you were doing, when you started the job, when you finished it or if you are still doing it. You will be asked about the school and university you attended and any training you took. The last question you will be asked, but in our opinion, very important, is to indicate the place of work and the job title you would like to perform. In order to confirm all the written information, you will have to click on "save interests".
Having saved all your interests and created your profile on the app, another important step to take to make your registration complete, is to write your cv. To do this, you'll have to click on the button with the three horizontal lines, which represents the menu and click on the "cv" item. On the screen that opens you can spend as much time as you want to write your CV, you can indicate your studies, you can write all previous work experience, trying to be as detailed as possible.
After all these steps that are essential, you can go to the main section "search for jobs" and search through filters all the job offers present. Some examples of filters are: type of contract, working hours, experience, city and study. Once you have found an offer that may be right for you, you can click on it to read all the requirements for that job and if you really like it, click on "send your application". If you later want to see the status of your application, you can go to the menu with the three lines and look for "applications". Job-Finding App Indeed
Another job-finding app that we feel like recommending is definitely Indeed. It is a kind of collector of all the job ads that are published on the web by many job search sites. We also recommend it because its use is very simple and immediate. First of all, this app must be downloaded in order to use it. From the very first login you can access the screen to search for jobs, but if you want our advice, it's always better to register first, create a profile with your resume and then apply for jobs.
After downloading the app and after opening it, click on the button "publish your resume" so it will open a new screen, which will allow you to create your profile. At this point you will have to enter your data in the spaces provided (first and last name, city and phone number) and click on "continue". For the creation of the first curriculum vitae you can click on "create your cv". Several tabs will open, divided by topics: "education and training" where you can enter the school you attended, the university and any courses or masters; the tab "work experience" where, if you have already had them, you can add previous experiences.
Press the "continue" button to go on. Ricordati che tutto ciò che avrai scritto nella tua pagina personale potrà essere modificato ogni volta che vorrai. Per esempio, se vuoi aggiungere un nuovo lavoro potrai cliccare su "i miei curriculum" e aggiornare la sezione della scheda che ti interessa. Un’ottima alternativa se non vuoi creare il tuo cv, è il tasto "carica cv", che ti permetterà di caricare un file già creato in precedenza.
Per la ricerca vera e propria di una offerta di lavoro, dovrai andare nella parte principale dell’app, digitare la città, la professione che cerchi e impostare qualche altro filtro per avere una ricerca, la più mirata possibile, e cliccare su "cerca lavoro". Se l’offerta ti interessa ti basterà cliccarci sopra e per candidarti potrai avere due possibilità:
- Se compare la scritta "candidati con il cv" (quello caricato in precedenza o compilato al momento della tua iscrizione) puoi vedere subito il testo che riassume l’offerta proposta e candidarti con il tuo cv cliccando su "candidati facilmente";
- Cliccando sull’offerta potrai essere collegato al sito originale dove è scritto il tuo annuncio di lavoro e leggere da questo sito stesso di cosa si tratta. Se sarai interessato e vorrai candidarti, dovrai poi seguire le indicazioni di questa nuova pagina web.
App per trovare lavoro CornerJobs
Un’altra delle migliori app per trovare lavoro è CornerJobs. Appena avrai scaricato l’App, dovrai cliccare su tasto "cerco lavoro" e continuare con la registrazione. Con questa App la registrazione è molto semplice, potrai farla tramite il tuo account di Facebook, saltando tutta la procedura per la creazione del profilo. In the main screen of the CornerJobs app you can see all the job offers published and to make a search you have at the top, a field to write the type of job you are looking for. After typing the job, a list of results will appear and, to get more information, you can click on the one that interests you most. A screen will open with all the information about that job and if you are curious about it, you can click on the "apply" button to send your application. For each job you have applied for, you will find the words "under consideration". You will receive a response to your application within 24 hours of submitting your CV.
