Better Call Saul is one of the best TV series of the last years. Born on the wave of success of Breaking Bad and in fact is the spin-off focused on the life of the irreverent lawyer who relies on Walter White in the mother series. The protagonist is always him, Saul Goodman, aka Jimmy McGill.
At the side of Jimmy (played by actor Bob Odenkirk) other characters from the original show stand out. Most notably, we find Mike (Jonathan Banks) an old Philadelphia precinct police officer who falls into a ring of corruption and drug trafficking. For five years now, the spin-off has kept thousands of viewers glued to the screen and now the sixth and final season is awaited. Peter Gould, creator of the show along with Vince Gilligan gave some anticipations about the last chapter and also talked about the beginning of filming.
Better Call Saul 6: plot previews
The TV series over the years has introduced numerous questions, some of which are still unanswered. For this reason, the arrival of the last season is highly anticipated. The last episode streamed ended with Jimmy and Kim Wexler (played by Rhea Seehorn) locked up in a Hotel under the shelter of Lalo Salamanca (Tony Dalton).
The sixth season will make us better understand what is the relationship between the two and especially the fate of Kim, also because the events of the last season focused a lot on the dynamics of this couple.
When Better Call Saul 6 comes out
The fifth season of the show came out on February 23, 2020 but the last dubbed episodes only arrived in our country on July 3, 2020, because the industry had slowdowns due to the pandemic.
Initially, the sixth season was supposed to be released exactly one year later, that is, in the early months of 2021 unfortunately, however, filming was suddenly interrupted for the lockdown and has not yet started again.
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Peter Gould said that work will not resume anytime soon because the production is working on a plan to reduce the risks of contagion as much as possible, not to mention that the pandemic does not stop running especially in the United States. In light of this, the creator expects that the start of filming will take place in 2021. Better Call Saul 6 will be released presumably in the middle or even at the end of the same year.
So we will have to wait another year, but there is a small consolation: there will be three more episodes than the planned 10.

Those who loved Breaking Bad can find in Better Call Saul many references to the parent TV series. At the same time the spin-off has its own plot and characters and therefore can be enjoyed even by those who do not know the sequel.
