Boris fans, warm up your engines. Filming has finally begun on the iconic Italian TV series starring Renè Ferretti and his camera crew. As announced at the beginning of 2021, the new season will be produced by Disney + and will be available on the Star channel, dedicated to generalist content.
Boris is one of the most important TV series in Italy: produced from 2007 to 2010, the saga composed of three seasons seemed to end definitively in 2011, with the release of the film. However, the public in recent years has been clamoring for a fourth season. It was even launched a petition on Change.org endorsed by the actors of the cast. Netflix had already included on its catalog all the old seasons, but unexpectedly, Disney + has committed to the new production. Finally, filming started in Rome on October 5. Boris 4 will once again tell, with a satirical and irreverent language, what happens in TV studios, behind the scenes of the world of TV and cinema. But in the new episodes there will be interesting news.
Boris plot: what's new in the fourth season
The third season of Boris ended with the farewell of Renè Ferretti to the world of television, now ruined by interests and too much attention to share and ratings. The last episode left viewers with a bitter taste in their mouths and posed an important question, "Is another television possible?" The new episodes will start precisely from this question.
Written and directed by Giacomo Ciarrapico and Luca Vendruscolo, the fourth season of Boris will narrate the return to the set of the crew of "The Eyes of the Heart".
