Dei truffatori hanno messo in piedi un finto sito per richiedere il Bonus Mobilità 2020: attenzione, è un falso ed è pericoloso.
Oggi è il click day del buono mobilità, il cosiddetto bonus bici e monopattini tramite il quale il Governo Italiano stanzia 210 milioni di euro per i rimborsi fino a 500 euro destinati a chi ha comprato un mezzo di micromobilità urbana ecologica. La platea di beneficiari è enorme, perché sono incentivabili i prodotti acquistati già dal 4 maggio scorso, e i furbetti di Internet ne stanno approfittando: online c’è un sito fake pericoloso, con un nome ingannevole che richiama proprio il sito vero della piattaforma tramite la quale si richiede il bonus.
Il sito in questione è www.buonomobilità.it, mentre il sito vero e sicuro è www.buonomobilita.it. Cosa cambia? The accent on the a, which in the real site is not there but in the fake one it is. It's clear that the site with the accent has been created to exploit the huge amount of traffic that the click day is going to generate and, what's more, despite being practically empty it has also managed to position itself very well in search engines: it is the second result, after the site of the Ministry of Environment, both on Google and Bing. But you have to be careful: it is a scam to all intents and purposes and the site "with the accent" has nothing to do with the real one.
Mobility voucher: why the fake site is dangerous
Those who visit the fake site on the mobility voucher will not find any information about the bonus bike and scooter or refunds up to 500 euros promised by the Government. Instead, there is only one page with links to external sites, equally insecure. Some of them are most likely phishing sites where the user is invited to enter their sensitive data.
Others are sites that collect information about the device, the browser and the behavior of the user who visits them. In short, absolutely nothing good and it's better not to visit that site.
It's too easy to fool Google and Bing
The public reporting of this attempted online scam related to mobility voucher is due to one of the major Italian experts in SEO (search engine optimization) and Web Marketing: Giorgio Taverniti. From his YouTube channel Taverniti has launched the alarm to put on alert the Internet professionals, so that word of the scam would spread.
The problems, however, in this case are two: the first is that it is too easy to make fun of search engines and place in the first page (yesterday it was even in first position) a fake and dangerous site. Il secondo problema, invece, è che nessuno di Sogei (la società pubblica del Governo italiano che gestisce il sito vero) si è accorto di nulla.
UPDATE: il sito fake è cambiato, ma è sempre pericoloso
Solo nelle ultime ore, dopo che migliaia di utenti hanno visitato il sito fake (e molto probabilmente alcuni di loro si sono rivolti alla Polizia Postale), l’home page del sito falso è stata modificata. Ora riporta il link al sito vero in bella vista in alto. L’immagine di apertura di questo articolo mostra come è ora l’home page del sito, ma non è escluso che venga ulteriormente modificata.
Ma è ancora pericoloso, perché contiene un banner con due pulsanti “Start” e “Download” e altri link nella pagina che portano ancora a pagine di spam o a strani video su YouTube.
