Call of Duty Warzone and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare are down since 12:00 am on August 30, 2020. There are thousands of reports from users who can't access their profiles and play the game. The problem seems to be quite significant and does not only affect Call of Duty, but also other video games.

Reading the reports and comments of online users, the problem manifests itself in different ways, but the end result is always the same: you can't play Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Some users manage to access their profile and play for a few minutes, but after that they are immediately disconnected. The cause seems to be a DDoS attack that seems to have affected the servers of Call of Duty: Warzone, but not only.

Why Call of Duty: Warzone is down today

A large DDoS attack has knocked out the servers of Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. In the previous hours, however, other services, such as Discord, were also down. At the moment, the technicians are trying to solve the problem, but it will have to wait a little more time for everything to return to normal.

On downdetector.it there are already thousands of reports, as well as comments from users. Everyone is looking for an explanation as to why they can't play Call of Duty: Warzone, but for the time being we just have to wait for the problem to be solved. On downdetector there are also reports about the failure of some telephone operators and PSN, but in reality it is not so. The servers of Call of Duty are not working. The number of reports is also very high because it is a Sunday and in many parts of Italy there is bad weather and fans hoped to be able to relax playing. But they won't be able to. We will keep you updated.

Update at 17:00. The problem has been solved.
