Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 5 is coming. Changes to the Warzone map, two new weapons and a new game mode - here's all the news
The biggest season ever. Activison and Infinity Ward have released Season 5 of Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, available to all users from 8:00 am on August 5. There was great anticipation around this season and the reasons are clear: the Call of Duty: Warzone map is ready to undergo major changes, with the opening of the stadium, the addition of a train that crosses the entire map, the opening of Train Station and the addition of pulleys that will allow you to reach the roof of buildings faster.
The news, however, does not end there. In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's multiplayer mode, new maps have been released that will let players have even more fun. With Season 5, a new faction is also added, the Shadow Company, which will bring new operators: from the beginning the operator Lerch will be present in the Battle Pass. During Season 5, however, will be added the operator Velikan.
As in all updates there are also new weapons and game modes. Two weapons have been added since the beginning of Season 5 and more will come in a mid-season update: AN-94 (assault rifle) and ISO (SMG). Added the new Mini Royale mode for Call of Duty: Warzone, which makes Battle Royale even more hectic. In addition, daily, weekly and monthly challenges have been added to complete the Season 5 Battle Pass faster.
Call of Duty: Warzone, Verdansk map changes face
It was the change most requested by players and Activision listened to it: the Warzone map finally changes face and opens the "doors" of some of the biggest buildings. The stadium finally becomes a livable part of the map and it will be possible to enter inside and fight with enemies. The same can be done inside Train Station. There is also a train that travels along the railroad and that hides a loot with weapons and items useful for the battle. Finally, pulleys have also been added that allow you to quickly climb up very tall buildings as an alternative to elevators.
Modes, weapons and all the new features in Season 5 of Call of Duty: Warzone
Season 5 also brings with it new game modes. Aggiunta una nuova modalità chiamata “Mini Royale" che riduce il campo di battaglia (si combatterà in una porzione della mappa di Verdansk) per avere degli scontri ancora più frenetici e intensi. Il divertimento sarà assicurato. Inserite anche delle sfide giornaliere, settimanali e mensili che permetteranno di accumulare più velocemente i punti per il Battle Pass. Due nuove armi (e altre ne arriveranno nel corso della stagione) fanno il loro debutto nel videogame: si tratta dell’ISO SMG, una mitraglietta leggera molto veloce a sparare, e l’AN-94 un fucile d’assalto che spara due colpi insieme. Inoltre, sono state modificate anche le armi del gulag, che ora cambiano ogni settimana. Aumentata anche la potenza di alcune armi semi automatiche e del Barret, oltre che del FR 5.56.
Dimensioni aggiornamento Stagione 5 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare e Call of Duty: Warzone
L’annoso problema della grandezza degli aggiornamenti di Call of Duty: Modern Warfare e Call of Duty: Warzone si ripete anche per la stagione 5. L’update supera su ogni dispositivo almeno 30GB e Activision per rendere più veloce il download ha già permesso agli utenti della PS4 di scaricare l’aggiornamento della Season 5 che verrà installato dalle 8:00 del mattino del 5 agosto. Ecco le dimensioni dell’aggiornamento in base al dispositivo:

- Xbox One: 49.8 GB
- PC: 54.2 GB (per chi ha anche il multiplayer) e 47.4 GB (per chi ha solo Warzone).

As happens at every start of the Season, Activision has announced that from 19:00 on Friday, August 7 until 19:00 on Wednesday, August 12, there will be free multiplayer for all players.
