Call of Duty: Warzone map could change from Verdansk region to Urzikstan: here are all the news
From Verdansk to Urzikstan is a short step. At least that's what the developers of Call of Duty think, who are preparing a big surprise for the coming months. The map of Call of Duty: Warzone, in fact, is ready to completely change face between October and November, transferring players from the region of Verdansk to Urzikstan. Of course, these are invented names, but gamers are very familiar with these two areas, where some of the game's titles have been set.
Dataminers have managed to get their hands on the code of Call of Duty 2020 (which should be called Black OPS CIA and will be released between October and November) where there is also a reference to the new Call of Duty: Warzone map. The video game should undergo changes to the map already at the beginning of Season 5, which should start on August 5, 2020, but these are changes that affect the region of Verdansk (opening of the stadium, nuclear bomb explosion). In this case, however, it is a total change, with a shift from one Region to another.

The most attentive players will not have missed the reference to the region of Urzikstan already within the teaser presentation of Season 4. Probably the developers are already beginning to prepare the ground for a change of map and region that could really upset the video game. Another question to be answered concerns the connection between Call of Duty: Warzone and the new Call of Duty: Black Ops CIA. Will the campaigns of the two games be connected? Or will Activision decide to split the storyline of the two titles and make Call of Duty: Warzone a standalone game?

The dataminers, analyzing the code of the game, have also discovered the areas of the new map set in Urzikstan. Forest, Duga (Radar Station), Chemical Lab, Ski Slopes, Sanatorium, Battery, Zoo, Swamp. These are just the names of some of the areas that will be present in the new map and everything suggests that there will be a lot of fun, with outdoor areas, roughness and large indoor spaces that will allow you to take cover and counterattack.
