Although the quality is lower than in a high-end scanner, this new feature in Google Photos still provides good quality. We'll also be able to use filters and in case we want to then we can share them with our friends.

The new Google Photos automatic movies

PhotoScan is just one of the new features that Google Photos will bring these days. The company is betting big on increasingly easy editing and especially on movies automatically generated by the app from photos uploaded by us. For the moment there are three types of movies, those that collect the first months of a newborn's life, one designed for special events such as a wedding or a baptism, and finally the so-called "through the years" function that cycles through photos taken from all the holidays such as Christmas or Easter. And Google has guaranteed that in the coming months it will release several new types for these automatic movies. For example, the "Lullaby" a collection of photos and music designed to lull babies to sleep easily.
