The new Bonus TV works in a completely different way from the old one: now you can get a much higher contribution, just follow a few simple rules.
Two good news, in a few days, for those who love watching Digital Terrestrial TV programs and are trying to figure out if they should change TV in view of the transition to the new DVB-T2 standard. The first piece of news is that the whole switch off has been moved forward by a few weeks (it starts on October 15 and no longer on September 1), the second is that the new Bonus TV has been confirmed.
The Bonus has in fact been financed with 250 million euros and will be used to replace no less than 2.5 million old TV sets that are not compatible with the new digital terrestrial standard. These are very dated televisions, which are usually used in the secondary rooms of the house and which, at the end of the switch off, will become substantially useless. Per questo il Ministero dello Sviluppo Economico ha confermato la misura, già prevista e annunciata in passato, finanziando il fondo che servirà per erogare il bonus ai cittadini. La cosa molto importante è che questo bonus non sostituisce quello già esistente fino a 50 euro ma, al contrario, è cumulabile con esso. In alcuni casi, quindi, si potranno ricevere fino a 150 euro per cambiare una sola TV ma, in realtà, non c’è alcun limite al numero di TV che si possono cambiare con l’incentivo. Bonus TV 2021: come funziona
A differenza dell’attuale Bonus TV, che prevede un contributo fino a 50 euro solo per le famiglie con ISEE entro i 20.000 euro, il nuovo Bonus TV 2021 non ha alcun limite di reddito e vale il doppio: 100 euro per tutti, ma bisogna rispettare alcuni requisiti:
- Consegnare, contestualmente all’acquisto della nuova TV, un vecchio modello non compatibile con il DVB-T2. Tale apparecchio verrà rottamato (è anche possibile rottamare in proprio il TV, con una apposita procedura)
- Essere residenti in Italia
- Essere intestatari del Canone RAI ed essere in regola con il pagamento
L’importo massimo del nuovo Bonus TV è di 100 euro, ma vale comunque il limite del 20% del costo dell’apparecchio nuovo acquistato: per ottenere 100 euro, quindi, la TV deve costare almeno 500 euro altrimenti si riceverà meno.
Non essendoci limiti di ISEE, il nuovo Bonus TV 2021 sarà dato a tutti (fino a esaurimento dei fondi) e sarà anche cumulabile con il vecchio contributo da 50 euro.
Bonus TV 2021: quanti contributi a famiglia?
La cumulabilità tra il vecchio e il nuovo Bonus TV comporta che una famiglia con ISEE fino a 20 mila euro potrà ricevere fino a 150 euro per l’acquisto di una TV da almeno 500 euro: 50 euro dal bonus legato all’ISEE e 100 euro dal Bonus TV 2021 legato al codice fiscale, per un totale di 150 euro.Many people, at this point, will be thinking that in a family with more than one adult it is possible to ask for more bonuses to buy more TV sets. Since the RAI fee is linked to the house in which the members of the family are resident (and since no one can be resident in two houses at the same time), it is clear that you cannot, for example, ask for a bonus with the tax code of the husband and another with that of the wife.
Unless, but these are very rare cases, the two spouses are not residents in different homes: in this case both will be able to ask for the new Bonus TV 2021, but only one of the two also the one linked to the ISEE (because both spouses belong to the same family, with the same ISEE).
