Konami has announced the price and release date of PES 2021, a game that will only be available as an update to PES 2020
After announcing that PES 2021 will simply be an update to PES 2020 downloadable separately, Konami has also made it known when the DLC will be available for everyone: September 15, 2020. Not to miss anything, we already know the price of the PES 2021 update: 34.99 euros. A figure that in comparison to the new videogames is certainly very tempting, but to think that it is a simple update, without any improvement in the graphics, makes a little 'think.
Konami emphasizes that PES 2021 will be an updated version of the title eFootball PES 2020, with updated data and roses. In addition to the previous game there are only exclusive content on Uefa Euro 2020, the European Championship that will be played in 2021, but that will already be available on the football simulation game. The other novelty concerns the iconic moments present in the myClub mode and that will concern the title's partner teams, including Juventus. As for the Serie A, Konami announced last week that it has not renewed the license with Inter and AC Milan: the two teams in Milan will have a fictitious name in the game and not the original one.
eFootball PES 2021 Season Update: the editions available
In total there are two versions available of PES 2021: Standard Edition and Partner Club Edition. The Standard Edition will also be available in physical format (Lionel Messi on the cover) and inside there will be PES 2020 updated with the roses of the next football season. The Partner Club Edition, however, is designed for fans of the teams that are partners of Konami: Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Arsenal. This edition features special (iconic) content designed especially for fan-gamers.
In addition, there will also be a Veteran Bonus for all myClub players from the previous edition. The rewards will be based on the progress that had been achieved.
PES 2021: when it comes out and how much it costs
The PES 2021 update costs €34.99 on consoles, with a 20% discount for those who will buy it directly from PES 2020. The release of eFootball PES 2021 has been set for September 15, 2020.
