EMUI 9.1 is coming to 8 new Huawei smartphones. New features, more fluidity in the system and new GUI. Here's when it will be available
While waiting for EMUI 10 that will arrive on some Huawei smartphones in early September, the Chinese company is releasing these days the stable version of EMUI 9.1, which introduces very interesting new features and allows you to make a smoother transition to the future. The UI update has been released for 8 new Huawei and Honor smartphones: Mate 9, Mate 9 Pro, Mate 9 Porsche Design, Huawei P10, P10 Plus, Nova 2S, Honor V9 and Honor 9.
These are devices that came out on the market at least two years ago, but still ensure good performance. EMUI 9.1 adds some features, but it mainly allows you to make the system more stable and improve performance. Among the most interesting new features is the Super File System technology that improves the response speed of applications, GPU Turbo 3.0, dedicated functionality for video games and 30x zoom. EMUI 9.1 is being released in stable version these days: if you still don't get the update notification, don't be alarmed, within a few days you can download the update and install it on your smartphone.
EMUI 9.1: what's new
What will users find new on their Huawei smartphones with the EMUI 9.1 update? There's a new Ark Compiler that improves system fluidity and application response. Similar functionality also for the Super File System Technology (EROFS) that improves the speed of applications. GPU Turbo 3.0, on the other hand, increases support for new games (it serves to optimize graphics processing).
