Fairphone is a company that builds and designs eco-friendly smartphones, that is, with very low impact on the environment during the realization of the device. During the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona, the company said it also plans to make watches and computers that are completely "green".
Fairphone 2 is a smartphone that uses materials that do not pollute and has a modular design to facilitate repairs and replacements in order to avoid waste. On the Catalan stage, the company's CEO Bas van Abel confirmed that Fairphone wants to continue its growth to also put a Fairlaptop or a Fairwatch on the market soon. Obviously both made with low impact on the environment and with recycled materials. Van Abel said that the company does not yet have in mind the new line of products but certainly this will be expanded than just smartphones.

According to Van Abel, the success of the company in the near future will come from its added value: sustainability. Creating devices that last longer or can be repaired easily, made from different materials and with low consumption will soon be a prerogative. Also because, according to Fairphone, consumers will be increasingly aware of the consequences of their electronic devices on the environment. Fairphone 2 arriverà in Italia
Il Fairphone 2, il device lanciato lo scorso anno dall’azienda olandese, arriverà finalmente anche in Italia. La società ha trovato un accordo con MediaWorld e con GoGreen Store per vendere i suoi smartphone nel Bel Paese, anche se inizialmente solo online. Il prezzo del Fairphone 2 sarà di 533 euro e nei prossimi mesi è molto probabile che vedremo lo smartphone anche sugli scaffali dei negozi di elettronica italiani.
