Rich spoils are up for grabs: the winners of the competition will receive 1500 FIFA Pro Points and a share of the prize money
Everything is ready for the eNations Cup, the new FIFA 19 Global Series tournament dedicated to national teams. That's right, the long-awaited competition linked to the EA Sports title is finally official and will lead us towards the big event of the FIFA eWorld Cup.
"The involvement of our affiliated federations with an eSports tournament dedicated to nations is another step forward, in a significant and exciting way, for FIFA and FIFA's eSports development, globally: after the introduction of the FIFA eClub World Cup in the last three years, we can't wait to see this competition for national teams, contained in our eSports project, at work.
In addition, the FIFA eNation Cup represents for us another big step in the growth and development of soccer eSports, further strengthening the engagement with fans and players around the world, and allowing the various associations associated with FIFA, to develop and activate eSports programs and competitions in their countries" - explained Luis Vicente, Chief Digital Transformation & Innovation Officer of FIFA.
The competition will take place on 13 and 14 April 2019: it is the second of three events, organized by FIFA, regarding the competitive aspect of Fifa 19. Will participate, by invitation, 16 Nations (belonging to the different federations of FIFA as UEFA, CONCACAF, CONMEBOL, AFC etc.), in teams composed of 2 players: one on PlayStation 4 and one on Xbox One.
Each Nation will have the opportunity, in addition, to organize internal tournaments to engage their players who will represent them at the event. In palio un ricco bottino: ben 1500 FIFA Pro Points ai vincitori della competizione. Non solo. A seconda della posizione raggiunta, i giocatori potranno aggiudicarsi una parte del montepremi, di cui ancora non conosciamo l’entità.
