Stranger Things and Fortnite have formed a partnership in view of the release of the third season: on the online store available new skins, emote and covers
Launched yesterday at the same time worldwide Stranger Things 3, the famous Netflix horror series set in the mythical eighties. The highly anticipated third installment of the saga of the brothers Matt and Ross Duffer, strengthened by the great success, has given rise to a series of partnerships. In Italy has made an uproar the huge promotion on Italy 1, to celebrate the arrival of the new series, has even dedicated an entire schedule created ad hoc and focused on the most famous horror movies produced in those years.
But the partnerships do not end here. Since a few days on the famous game Fortnite had already appeared something. Last June, an easter egg unearthed by some players showed the sign of the Scoops Ahoy ice cream parlor where, today we can confirm, one of the protagonists of the TV series works during the third season. But that's not all, one day after the launch of the series on Netflix, Fortnite, in the Mega Mall area have appeared portals that reproduce exactly the dimensional doors that in Stranger Things lead to the Underworld, the realm of the Mind Flayer.
Fortnite x Stranger Things: the new skins inspired by the Netflix TV series
Finally today all has been revealed. The collaboration between Fortnite and Stranger Things has officially begun with the debut in the Epic games store of the skins of the famous Netflix series. In particular, two are the dedicated skins: Chief Hopper and Demogorgon. Chief Hopper is an Epic Costume with alternative style from the cost of 1500 V-buck, about 15 euros, while the Demogorgon is a rare Skin from 1200 V-buck, about 12 euros. Per completare, però, l’intero set bisogna utilizzare anche una copertura molto particolare pensata appositamente per Stranger Things: Trendrils. Quest’ultima viene proposta a 500 V-buck.
