Many were waiting for a teaser trailer announcing the beginning of the second chapter of the second season, but this time, Epic Games has decided to once again surprise its fans with a mysterious advertising campaign.
A few days before the official launch of Fortnite 2 Season 2 would be normal to wait for the classic video with the news of the new update, but for now nothing has appeared online. A fact quite unusual, but in recent hours it is understood why: Epic Games, in fact, has released short video clips aired on the big screens around the world along with a series of posters posted in major cities around the planet. Reports of these "appearances" come from different parts of the globe, France, Japan, Brazil, but the same seems to be happening in other countries and other cities. And the peculiarity is that these videos advertise some telephone numbers and from time to time appears a golden hand.
Fortnite: what are the strange phone numbers
The short video clips and posters do not seem to anticipate, nor reveal anything except the enigmatic phone numbers. The only thing that appears both in the videos and in the posters is the logo of "Fortnite" characterized by the imprint of a golden hand and other elements, also golden, along with a simple, but rather inexplicable, phone number. A joke? Not really, the phone number is active and fully functional. Calling the number, a recorded voice on the other end of the phone plays a message, always the same: "Yes sir, the agents have been called. The card to access the safe has already been acquired".
For now this is all, we do not know what this message refers to, everything suggests some special mission or some challenge in the new season of Fortnite. For some, the presence in the video of a golden hand could hint at the arrival of a fourth indestructible material to be used in the construction of fortresses.
