Fortnite update 10.20: everything you need to know

Fortnite updates to version 10.20. Here are all the new features that users will find in Battle Royale, Save the World and Creative Mode

With the classic weekly maintenance (the servers will be offline for a while) also comes the update of Fortnite with new features, weapons and gadgets to use in battle. Fortnite 10.20 brings new features in all the main game modes of the video game: Battle Royale, Creative Mode and Save the World.

These are not new features that will change the video game, but small additions that will improve the gameplay and give new weapons available to users. In addition to the new features included in the update, Fortnite users will also find a surprise: Fortnite x Chaos. This is the new event dedicated to Borderlands (another video game whose third chapter is expected soon) that will last until September 10 and will provide prizes and daily challenges to complete. In the online store is also expected a bundle dedicated to Fortnite x Chaos.

Fortnite 10.20: what's new

Few changes, but very important for players. All three game modes are affected by the update and users will find new things to do or use.

Let's start with Fortnite Battle Royale. Few new features: only the shield bubble has been added, which will allow players to shelter and defend themselves from enemy attacks. The bubble is invulnerable to bullets and explosives.

Lovers of Creative Mode will find new sets where they can get down to business. The first construction set is about Pandora and was made as part of the collaboration with Borderlands. Also included is the Arid Island, another set inspired by the desert area of Pandora. As for gameplay, the Speaker Device and the Message Device interface have been added, allowing users to let other players know what's happening.

In Fortnite Save the World, a Sound Wall Trap has been added that blocks the attack of the Targets. New assignments also in The Long Road to Casam with fun-filled challenges.

When Fortnite 10.20 arrives

Server maintenance work is expected to finish by lunchtime. The full Fortnite 10.20 update should be available by 5pm.
