The new smartphone from the Southcoerean house will hit the market on May 29. The technical features have nothing to envy to a top of the range
The rumors of the past weeks had made believe a bit 'to all that it was the Galaxy A90, top of the range of the new line of smartphones Samsung characterized by the excellent value for money (see the various Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A30, just to name two of the models launched by the South Korean manufacturer in recent weeks).
In fact, the rumors were referring to the Galaxy A80, Samsung's first smartphone with an infinite display, without notch or notches of any kind. To achieve this, the engineers of the South Korean company have devised a sliding system capable of transforming the triple rear camera into a front camera. In this way, the user will be able to take panoramic photos and selfies with the same quality, relying on the same set of sensors and lenses.

As mentioned, Galaxy A80 will have an infinite display with 6.7-inch AMOLED technology in FHD + that embraces the entire front, without any interruption caused by holes or front cameras. The wide hugging screen covers the entire front of the screen, and is surrounded by a very thin, almost invisible bezel. But beware: the absence of notches or holes in the front does not mean that with the new smartphone you have to give up selfies.
With the Galaxy A80 every selfie can be taken in a totally innovative way: to perform it you need to activate the front camera with a mechanical rotating system that allows you to turn forward the rear cam. This is a sliding mechanic that is not present in any other cell phone in the world, and this has aroused the curiosity of all.

During the same event, the president of Samsung also announced the new Galaxy A70 smartphone, which has some features in common with the A80. It features a 6.7-inch Infinity display that also features a fingerprint sensor. The specs, on the other hand, are more traditional compared to its sibling. For example, the processor is slightly less powerful than the Galaxy A80, with 6 and 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of expandable storage. The battery has a capacity of 4,500 mAh and the photo compartment is also cutting edge: it features a 32-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel camera and an 8-megapixel camera. The selfie cam on the other hand is 32 megapixels.
