Galaxy M30: features and photos of the low cost Samsung

Samsung presents a new mid-low-end smartphone with an excellent price-quality ratio: here's how it will be

From India comes news that will please fans of Samsung smartphones in Europe as well: the Korean company announced with a tweet that on February 27 will present a new mid-low-end smartphone with a price-performance ratio more than interesting. This is the Samsung Galaxy M30 and will be added to the two smartphones already launched in India (and that will most likely soon arrive in Europe) M10 and M20.

This confirms the new strategy of Samsung: to be present, and with excellent products, even in the lower end of the market, where revenues are lower but sales are higher. At the moment Samsung presides over this market segment with the Galaxy J range, which, however, does not have exciting technical features compared to the selling price. In short, Samsung's strategy to free itself "from the encirclement" of Chinese manufacturers continues expeditiously and, as mentioned, it could soon concern Italian users very closely.

Technical data sheet Galaxy M30

The technical characteristics of the Galaxy M30 will resume those of the two younger brothers, with some differences such as the ring around the central rear camera already seen on the Galaxy A7 (2018). The display, however, will be an Infinity-U instead of the Infinity-V of the M20. So still with a central notch, but round and not pointed. In addition, the M30 will have a 6.3-inch display with AMOLED technology instead of the LCD mounted on the two lower-priced smartphones in the same series, while the rest of the technical features should be in common with the Galaxy M20: Exynos 7904 SoC processor, 5,000 mAh battery and 4 GB of RAM to comfortably run Android 8.1 Oreo (but the update to Android 9 Pie is already expected on the entire M range). At the rear we find a system composed of three photo lenses. The Galaxy M30 will have a first 5 MP camera with depth sensor, a second always 5 MP with ultra-wide lens and a third, the main one, 13 MP. The front-facing one, on the other hand, could be 16 MP.

Galaxy M30 price and availability

The Samsung Galaxy M30 in India is expected to be priced at around 190 Euros at the current exchange rate compared to around 160 Euros for the M20. From the latest leaks about the M20, it is speculated that this smartphone will arrive in Europe and Italy at a price of 219 euros, so it is conceivable that the M30 will be brought to our market at a price of about 250-260 euros. Like the Galaxy M20 and M10, the Galaxy M30 will be sold exclusively on Amazon and on Samsung's website.

In recent days, a purchase page dedicated to the Galaxy M20 appeared on Amazon.it, but it was removed after a few hours. It was enough, however, to understand that the Galaxy M range is coming to our country for the joy of those looking for a smartphone from Samsung affordable price but with features and performance far superior to the Galaxy J.
