The Geekbench platform publishes some rumors about the new low-cost device signed by Samsung. Here's a summary of the specifications, from processor to RAM
Samsung is preparing to expand the line of Galaxy M, the mid-range of the Korean manufacturer very popular in Italy and around the world. Although it is recently released in the market Galaxy M31, the company does not hint at stopping. In fact, as already anticipated in recent weeks, has in the pipeline a new low-cost smartphone: Galaxy M51.
According to the latest news, the device will have not only a respectable battery and a decent memory, but also a really good price. In recent days, more information has been published on the Geekbench platform. It was thus possible to find out what are the main features of the Galaxy M51. Of course, at the moment these are rumors, but usually the information published on the benchmarking platform are quite accurate. So, they allow you to have a pretty good idea of how the next low cost smartphone Samsung will be.
Samsung Galaxy M51: specifications
Geekbench shows us a preview of some specifications of the device, confirming some rumors. First of all, it reveals two new features: Galaxy M51 will feature SoC Snapdragon 675, will support Android 10 operating system and will have 8GB RAM. These are the three most important pieces of information confirmed by the platform.
Of course, it should be noted that in recent months have also been released particularly detailed renders of the product, which have let leak some features of the design and external functionality, such as the photo compartment. Waiting for confirmations, so far we have a fairly complete sketch. First of all, as we've already mentioned we're expecting a 6000mAh battery and internal memory of 128GB, so greater than the Galaxy M31, which instead has 64GB of internal storage.
We also learn that the Galaxy M51 will likely have a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with FullHD+ resolution. The screen will house the front-facing camera in a notch positioned in the upper left corner, of which, however, the specifications are not yet known. The display will also feature the fingerprint sensor. While the rear camera sensors will be three and will be placed in a rectangular module. We also have the first information on the dimensions that will probably be: 162.6 x 77.5 x 8.5mm.
Price of the Galaxy M51
In the past days, moreover, had arrived anticipations also for what concerns the price, which should be placed between 275 euros of the M31 and a maximum of 350 euros. Hypothesizable, therefore, a list price that is around 320 euros.
The device is designed for Asian markets where perhaps it will be presented in the coming weeks, while in Italy it could arrive in summer. Unfortunately, Samsung is very buttoned up: it doesn't offer us any confirmation about it. Waiting to discover the official characteristics of Galaxy M51, you can already buy in our country its direct predecessor, namely the Galaxy M31.
