Galaxy Note 9: everything you need to know

The Galaxy Note 9 will hit the market between late August and early September. Under the shell there will be the Exynos 9810 chipset with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of memory

Launched on the market the Galaxy S9, Samsung is working on the second top of the range of 2018: the Galaxy Note 9. After the great success of the previous model, the South Korean company is intent on making a device that follows the same philosophy, but with even more advanced features.

Samsung's Note series is dedicated to those who use their smartphone for work and can't help but use it for 4-5 hours a day between writing emails, posting image on social networks, analyzing reports and making video calls. The Galaxy Note 8 also has the SPen, the stylus that allows you to interact with the screen and access unique features. The Galaxy Note 9 will follow the groove that the South Korean company has been tracing in recent years: borderless screen, top performance, dual rear cameras and SPen. The smartphone is expected to be launched on the market between the end of August and early September.

Galaxy Note 9 Datasheet

Although it is still several months away from market release, the first benchmarks on the Galaxy Note 9 are already starting to arrive. Benchmarks are scores given to smartphones depending on the performance they get in certain situations. The higher the score, the more power the device unleashes. In addition, many benchmarks provide indications of what the smartphone's spec sheet will look like. And so it is also for the Galaxy Note 9. The phone will have on board the Exynos 9810 chipset (the same present on the Galaxy S9) with to support 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory, expandable via microSD. The screen should have a diagonal of 6.38 inches (slightly higher than the previous model), and a QuadHD+ resolution.

For its flagship Samsung is working a lot on the security aspect. The device is expected to integrate new sensors that will make unlocking via iris recognition faster and more secure. Samsung is also testing the under-screen fingerprint sensor, already appeared in some smartphones in this 2018, and should integrate it inside the Note 8. The battery should be 4000mAh.

The smartphone will mount the version of Android Oreo 8.1, but it should receive very soon the update to Android P (coming out in August).
