Galaxy S10, features confirmed by benchmark

The smartphone appears online with the first confirmed features: the Galaxy S10 will have the Exynos 9820 chipset and 6GB of RAM. The rear camera will be dual

We are still two months away from the official presentation of the Galaxy S10, but the rumors and indiscretions do not stop being published online. This time they directly concern the Galaxy S10 and not one of its "brothers". Samsung, in fact, should present as many as three models of Galaxy S10 to diversify the market and cover a range of users as wide as possible: in addition to the base model will be launched also the Galaxy S10 Lite the Galaxy S10 Plus.

The news about the Galaxy S10 come directly from the Geekbench benchmark platform, a tool used by smartphone manufacturers to test the performance of their devices. In addition to the test results, the platform also offers the technical specifications of the device: the Galaxy S10 in question mounted the Snapdragon 855 and 6GB of RAM. This was the U.S. version of the Galaxy S10: in Europe it will arrive with the Exynos 9820 on board, a version very similar to the Snapdragon 855 and that ensures the same performance.

Features Galaxy S10

With each passing day, the Galaxy S10 data sheet takes more and more shape. Almost everything has been said about the device by now: it will have the Exynos 9820 on board, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The screen will be 6.1 inches with FullHD+ resolution and aspect ratio of 18:9. The design will be revolutionized by the hole in the screen where the front camera will be inserted, an innovative solution designed to decrease the thickness of the bezels. The camera compartment will be composed of a dual rear sensor and a single camera on the front. News also with regard to the fingerprint sensor that will no longer be physical, but that will be inserted directly into the display. The 3500mAh battery will have one of the most interesting features of the Galaxy S10: it will be able to be used to wirelessly charge other electronic devices (cell phones and smartwatches).

The Galaxy S10 will differ from the Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy S10 Plus only for the technical card. The design will be the same, with the screen having different sizes (in the Lite version it will be 5.8'', in the Galaxy S10 it will be 6.1'', while in the Plus model it will be 6.4 inches).

When will the Galaxy S10 arrive

Samsung is organizing an event at the Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona to present the new Galaxy S10: the chosen date should be around February 20. For the arrival on the market will take the second week of March. In previous days, there was talk about the possibility that the smartphone will arrive in five different versions. This is not a hoax: the 5G models of the Galaxy S10 will arrive on the market in the spring or during the summer.
