Google has announced that Google Home and Google Home Mini will be available from March 27 also in Italy. The news was in the air for some time already (in the previous days the support for the Italian language was released for the two smart speakers and their official page appeared for a few hours on the Google website) and now it's official.
With the arrival in Italy of Google Home and Google Home Mini, the market of smart assistants for the home will have a new impetus: Google is the first major company to bring its devices in Italy (for the moment Apple and Amazon, the other two major companies in the sector, do not seem convinced to release an Italian version of their smart speakers). Google Home and Google Home Mini can be purchased on the Google store, but also in the most important Italian home appliance chains. The price of the Google Home is 149 euros, while for the Google Home Mini you will have to shell out 59 euros.
What you can do with Google Home and Google Home Mini
Google Home and Google Home Mini act as a real hub for your smart home. Through the two smart assistants, you can control all the smart devices in your home. But that's not all. The two smart speakers can also be used to optimize your daily work and to ask the Google search engine for advice using your own voice. As soon as you wake up, you can ask Google Home for the weather forecast, the day's appointments, how long the bus will take and the traffic to get to work. For any kind of request, Google Home and Google Home Mini have the answer ready. The smart speakers also act as a speaker to play your favorite music.
Connecting the smart assistants to the Chromecast will allow you to choose the TV program directly with your voice: Google Home will send the request to the Chromecast and our favorite TV series will appear on the TV. In addition, the two smart speakers also support apps made by third-party companies: it will be possible to control Netflix, Spotify, access the news of Corriere della Sera, La Repubblica and many other national newspapers with voice commands.
Moreover, thanks to machine learning, as time goes by Google Home and Google Home Mini will learn users' habits and provide increasingly precise answers.

Google has opened on its website the page dedicated to the two products: you can't order them yet, but you can sign up for the waiting list. Prices are also obscured, but rumors speak of 149 euros for the Google Home and 59 euros for the Google Home Mini. The devices will be available from March 27.
