Once on the home page, you'll type "Download Chrome" in the search bar. You'll be redirected to a specific page of the Google browser. Clicking on the first link will take you to a page with a button labeled "Download Chrome" in the middle.

You will see a box where you have to click on the "Accept and install" button. The file named "ChromeSetup.exe" will be downloaded, which you have to open and run to start the installation of the browser. Once the process is complete, you'll have full access to the selected browser, which can be set as your default.

To download Chrome on an Apple computer with a macOS operating system, you must open the pre-installed browser, Safari. After that, you'll have to go to the official Google Chrome page, so you can locate the "Accept and install" button. The "googlechrome.dmg" package will open. A window will appear on the display, in which you'll have to drag the Chrome icon to the Applications folder of macOS.

The installation process will be quickly done. Then you can go to the "Applications" folder on your Mac, locate the browser icon, click "Open" and finally arrive at Chrome's home page. You'll be able to choose whether to make Chrome the default search engine or leave the default settings intact, which favor Safari. All this can be done with a simple tick in the window that appears when you log in for the first time.

You can also download and install Chrome on a computer with a Linux operating system (specifically Ubuntu). The first thing to do, even in this case, is to open the preinstalled browser, going to the Google Chrome home page. You can then click on the "Download Chrome" button, making sure to select the exact package for your operating system. Then click on "Accept and install" (bottom button) to complete the process on the browser.

A window will open on your desktop. Locate the "Open with" item and make sure that the "Install software" option is selected next to it. If it is not selected, do it and click on the "OK" button. A new window will open, in which you'll have to click on the "Install" button, then type in your Ubuntu account password and select "Authenticate".

To start Chrome, now installed, just click on "Show applications" on the sidebar, selecting the browser icon. Also in this case, the first time you start it will be very easy to indicate Chrome as the default engine, by selecting the appropriate box in the window that appears.
