Hacker attack knocks out part of the darkweb. Asked for ransom in Bitcoin

A group linked to Anonymous has made inaccessible more than 10,000 portals of the darkweb universe, asking for a ransom of about 100 dollars

A bad weekend for the users of the dark web. As many will have noticed, in fact, all TOR portals afferent to the Freedom Hosting II "galaxy" have been made unreachable by a hacker attack from Anonymous affiliates. According to the computer security researcher Sarah Jamie Lewis, in fact, the Freedom Hosting II sites would be equivalent to 20% of the dark web.

The hosting service, in fact, gave hospitality to about 10 thousand portals of the "dark web" concerning the most various topics: from whistleblowing to the Bitcoin exchange (the digital cryptographic currency that has reached a quotation of about 1.000 dollars), passing through personal blogs and forums with a political background.

As if that wasn't enough, several hundreds of portals were used for scams and financial frauds useful to keep alive the same Freedom Hosting II.
