The features of the Honor 30 and Honor 30 Pro, smartphones that will debut on April 15, have been revealed. On board the Kirin 990 5G
The two new top-of-the-line models of the Honor brand are expected for next April 15, just after the Easter holidays: Honor 30 and Honor 30 Pro. Until now, the technical characteristics of the two new devices had not yet been revealed, but about a week before the official launch have appeared on the TENAA certification site three new devices identified with three different serial numbers that, according to the usual well-informed, should correspond to the new high-end smartphones of the Honor brand.
The three versions certified by the TENAA site are: EBG-TN00, EBG-AN00 related to the Honor 30 model and EBG-AN10 that identifies the highest performing model, Honor 30 Pro. The difference between the two versions, standard and Pro, is related to the photographic compartment. The Honor 30 is equipped with a 40-megapixel main sensor, the Honor 30 Pro, on the other hand, has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX700 sensor. But the new Honor series also hides a novelty: Honor 30 and Honor 30 Pro would be equipped with the Kirin 990 5G processor, the same present on the Huawei P40 and Huawei P40 Pro.
Honor 30 and Honor 30 Pro: technical specifications
The new Honor smartphones sport an OLED display with a diagonal of 6.57 inches and a FullHD+ resolution. The beating heart of the new Honor series should be the Kirin 990 5G processor, supported by 8 GB of RAM and an internal storage capacity of 128 or 256 GB, expandable with a nanoSD. Also present is the fingerprint reader located under the display. Battery of 3,900 mAh and Android 10 operating system. The photographic compartment will consist of a 40-megapixel main sensor, still unknown the other sensors, both in terms of number and megapixels. Finally, 32-megapixel front camera.
Identical technical specifications of the Pro version, except for the presence of a variant equipped with a larger RAM capacity of 12 GB and the different rear photo compartment that, as anticipated, is characterized by the use of the Sony IMX700 sensor from 50 megapixels. Always unknown, at least for now, the other sensors of the rear camera that will be used for the Pro variant.
Honor 30 and Honor 30 Pro: price and release date
For now we still do not know either the release date or the price of the two new devices branded Honor. We will have to wait until April 15, the day of the official launch. Probably the smartphone will debut first in China and then arrive in Europe.
