Anticipated a few days ago with the presentation in China, the Honor View 10 makes its official debut in Europe as well. The Chinese company has given an appointment in London to launch its new top of the range on the mainland market, which comes just before the end of the year at a time when other companies focus on the development of smartphones 2018.
Honor View 10 is a smartphone that follows the trend born in this second part of 2017: 18:9 screen with very thin bezels. Compared to the competition, however, it has a feature that will make users happy: the fingerprint sensor is present on the front of the device. Taking a quick look at the data sheet of the device, we immediately notice the similarity with the Huawei Mate 10 Pro. And it is certainly not a case. Honor in fact is a sister company to Huawei and they use the same chipsets and materials to make smartphones.
The Chinese company took advantage of the London stage to also announce a second device: the Honor 7x. Again, this is a device with an 18:9 screen. But compared to its older brother, it has mid-range features, despite the excellent materials used. Both the Honor 7x and the Honor View 10 will be available in Italy at a price of 299.90 euros and 499.90 euros.

The smartphone inaugurates the new Honor series dedicated to smartphones with 2:1 screen. Rumors in recent days reported the name Honor 9 Pro, thinking that the Chinese company would continue with the wording of the last models. But with the new top of the range is launched in Europe the new Honor View series (which is flanked by the number 10, largely echoing the name with which the same device was launched in China, Honor V10). The smartphone is very similar to the Huawei Mate 10 PRO, from which it takes inspiration. And not so much in terms of design, but in terms of technical features. The Honor View 10 mounts the new Kirin 970 chipset that integrates special functions for artificial intelligence. The RAM is 6GB and the internal memory is 128GB with the possibility to expand it up to 256GB with microSD memory.. The screen is 5.99 inches with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and resolution 2160 x 1080 pixels. A unique feature is the presence of the fingerprint reader on the front: it is embedded inside the glass and is not clickable. The thickness of the smartphone is only 6.97mm, while the 3750mAh battery. The Honor View 10 will be available at a price of 499.90 euros and in two colors: Navy Blue and Midnight Black.

The presentation of the Honor 7x is little more than a formality, since the smartphone made its debut in China in mid-November. This is a mid-range smartphone (successor to the Honor 6x) with a very generously sized 18:9 screen. Let's start with the hardware compartment. The Honor 7x mounts a Kirin 659 chipset, supported by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The 5.93-inch display has a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and a pixel density of 407ppi. Interesting design, with very thin bezels in line with all the devices released in recent years. The photographic compartment consists of a dual rear camera and an 8 Megapixel front camera. The main sensor is 16 Megapixel, while the secondary 2 Megapixel is used to "capture" information. The 3340mAh battery provides a battery life that easily exceeds a stressful day. The price of the Honor 7x is 299.90 euros, for the release date in Italy will have to wait the next few days.
