How much does WhatsApp consume

SOS Tariffs has carried out a study on how much instant messaging applications consume: WhatsApp is among the best

Having the connection active twenty-four hours a day on the smartphone has now become a fairly common practice. Every moment is good to send a message to a friend or to watch a video on YouTube. But the main reason is definitely to chat with your friends.

Applications like WhatsApp have literally revolutionized our lives. Communicating with friends who live on the other side of the world has never been easier, and with the introduction of video calls everything has been made even easier. Talking to your friends on WhatsApp and other instant messaging applications you exchange videos and pictures and you never think about how much data from your phone plan you actually consume.

  • Consumo Light: 20 messaggi inviati, 20 ricevuti, 5 foto ricevute e 2 inviate;
  • Consumo Medium: 40 messaggi inviati, 40 ricevuti, 10 foto ricevute e 5 inviate;
  • Consumo High: 100 messaggi inviati, 100 ricevuti, 50 foto ricevute e 20 inviate.

Messenger for just 20 messages uses 2.05MB, while Skype to send 50 images requires 22.2MB. If you use Skype for work, pay close attention to your tariff plan, you may find yourself without traffic after a few days.
