Partiamo dall’Italia: siamo tredicesimi, dietro ad altre Nazionali europee come Germania e Turchia. L’obiettivo è fare meglio di questo ipotetico tredicesimo posto: i quarti di finale sarebbero un ottimo risultato.
Al primo posto del Power Ranking non ci sono gli Stati Uniti. Dopo anni di dominio, la Nazionale a stelle e strisce ha il suo “dream team" in panchina e non sul parquet (in panchina siede coach Popovich). Tante le defezioni: mancano tutti gli uomini più importanti, da LeBron James a Kevin Durant (infortunato) a Stephen Curry. La favorita numero uno per la vittoria è la Serbia, guidata dal duo Bogdanovic – Jovic.
