Instagram has released a new feature to re-share others' posts on our Stories, here's how to use the Re-Share button to make reposts
New Instagram update: The developers of the social platform for images have added a new feature to allow users to re-share, that is, a re-share of others' posts in their Stories.
In the past, sharing another user's post on Instagram was not a simple task. We had to rely on a third-party app or take a screenshot from our phone and then republish the photo on our page or our Story. An action that could also put us in front of copyright issues. If we hadn't tagged the user who owned the original post we could have also risked suspension from social media.
How to share other people's posts in our Instagram Story
In the past, sharing someone else's post on Instagram required the use of apps created specifically for re-sharing, or the cumbersome technique of screenshots. Not only were these operations a bit time-consuming, but if you weren't careful in reporting the origin of the post, there was even the risk of incurring copyright violations. Today the ability to re-share the posts of other users has been provided directly by Instagram, albeit with some limitations. - Cercate al di sotto della foto il simbolo con l’aereo di carta, quello cioè che si utilizza per i messaggi diretti a uno specifico utente.
- Si aprirà una nuova schermata che vi permetterà di scegliere attraverso quale servizio inviare il direct. Appena al di sopra delle icone troverete anche la dicitura Aggiungi contenuto alla tua Storia.
- Cliccate sulla scritta e condividete il post nella nuova Storia che si andrà a creare sul vostro profilo.
Come modificare il post condiviso nella nuova Storia
Così come vale per le altre immagini che inserite nelle vostre Storie, anche il post che avrete condiviso potrà essere modificato e personalizzato, in modo da dare un valore aggiunto alla vostra Storia. Come per i vostri scatti, potrete infatti aggiungere gli elementi che Instagram fornisce per migliorare le vostre immagini: filtri, scritte, adesivi e così via. Non sarà invece possibile eliminare l’etichetta che indica chi ha postato per primo quella foto, un po’ come accade nelle condivisioni su Facebook. Si tratta a tutti gli effetti di una tutela per garantire il rispetto dei diritti d’autore. Why can't I share posts in stories?
Have you read the guide, tried to follow all the steps, but couldn't share a post by others in your story? The fault is not yours, but the Instagram update. Unfortunately, in fact, the re-share feature is not available on all accounts. So if you can't find the feature to share posts in stories, it's probably because your account has not yet been enabled. In these cases there's little you can do, though: you just have to wait for Instagram to make the feature available on all accounts.
