You don't need to be a specialized journalist to write reviews of tech products: Huawei launches the Try&Stay initiative to try the Chinese manufacturer's flagship products.
The best way to evaluate a product before buying it is to try it for yourself. Especially if the product is a smartphone or a technological device, i.e. a product of a crowded sector in which it is difficult to understand from a data sheet the differences between the various devices. Even more so this discourse is valid for the products of Huawei, a leading company in recent years but lately put in great difficulty by the famous ban of Donald Trump.
The latest smartphones of Huawei, for example, have excellent data sheets but do not have Google Mobile Services, replaced by Huawei Mobile Services (waiting, of course, for the new operating system HarmonyOS 2.0). Is this a problem? We will only find out by trying them and, for this, Huawei has pulled out of the hat the Try&Stay program: 5 weeks to try the products of the Chinese giant and understand if they are suitable for our needs. The first product on trial made available by Huawei for the Try&Stay program is the smartphone Huawei P Smart 2021.
How does Huawei Try&Stay work
Unfortunately Try&Stay is not open to everyone: you must be part of the Huawei Community and apply by filling out a special form on the Huawei website. The company will select the members of the Community who demonstrate the most expertise and passion for technology, who can then publish a real review of the tested product.
You can send your application until December 6, 2020 (the selection will take place on December 8) and three participants will be selected for the initiative. The three candidates will be able to keep the device received for 5 weeks, then they will have to return it.
Which Huawei products you can test for free
As already mentioned, the first product offered by the Try&Stay initiative is the Huawei P Smart 2021 smartphone, but more will be coming in the coming weeks, including the Freedbus Pro headphones, the Gt 2 Pro smartwatch, and Huawei's top-of-the-line 2020 smartphone, the Mate 40 Pro.
