How to download and how Bit Mobility, the app created to rent electric scooters, works, and what are the rates of this sharing service.

Sustainable mobility, especially in the city center, has now become a consolidated reality, thanks to sharing services of bicycles and electric scooters, which can be used by citizens and tourists after downloading the relevant apps. Bit Mobility is just one of these apps, connected to the sharing service of electric scooters, active in major Italian cities.

The mission of this Veronese company is to reduce CO2 emissions and city traffic, offering a valid alternative to cars. This alternative is represented by the latest generation of electric scooters, with which you can move through the streets of the city safely and quickly.

The sharing service of electric scooters can be used from 14 years up. From 14 to 18 years old, the use of a protective helmet is compulsory, while from the age of majority it is strongly recommended.

How Bit Mobility works

All lovers of sustainable mobility will wonder how Bit Mobility works. First of all, it's important to remember that the app is available for both Android and iOS: whatever operating system your monster smartphone has, you can download it and use it without any problem.

To download it, just type "bit mobility" in the search bar of the Play Store (if you have Android) or the App Store (if you have iOS) and continue with the installation.

  • Zona GIALLA: area a velocità massima limitata a 6Km/h

If you park your electric scooter in one of the stalls (Bit Points), you'll receive a 50% discount on the unlocking you just made.

As we've seen, the Bitly Mobility app's costs are not at all excessive, and are designed to push more and more people, young and old, to choose sustainable micro-mobility.

Rules for traveling safely with electric scooters

To use an electric scooter, it is essential to respect the Highway Code: respect traffic lights and signs, give way to pedestrians and respect speed limits. You can circulate in pedestrian areas (maintaining a speed of 6Km/h), in bicycle lanes and on roads with a speed limit set at 30Km/h.

In addition to the use of a helmet (strongly recommended above 18 years of age and mandatory from 14 to 18) it is mandatory to wear a reflective vest during high visibility hours from sunset until half an hour before sunrise.
