We have already talked about Vincenzo Nibali. The Shark of the Strait has prepared this last part of the season thinking exclusively about the 2019 Giro di Lombardia. He didn't take part in the 2019 World Championships (poor physical condition and a route that is not in line with his characteristics) and wants to close his adventure with Bahrain-Merida with a victory. The list of favorites, however, is quite fierce. In primis Primoz Roglic and Egan Bernal. The former is back from victory at the Vuelta of Spain, the Giro dell'Emilia, the Giro del Piemonte and the Tre Valli Varesine. Bernal, on the other hand, has just won the Giro del Piemonte, leaving everyone behind on the Oropa climb. The condition of the two cyclists is stratospheric. To be considered also the Canadian Woods and Alejandro Valverde, who at the threshold of forty years old still manages to be competitive on this kind of routes.
