Huawei Mate 20 Lite official: 4 cameras and AI for everyone

The Chinese manufacturer gives an appetizer of its upcoming phablet series with the Mate 20 Lite. Large display, 4 cameras and ubiquitous artificial intelligence

In conjunction with IFA 2018 in Berlin - although not at the pavilions of the German technology fair - Huawei takes the veils off the Mate 20 Lite, the first model in the Chinese manufacturer's successful phablet series. A bit of a surprise release, but no less appreciated by the millions of Huawei fans around the world.

How is Huawei Mate 20 Lite? A device characterized by good value for money and several noteworthy technical specifications. On board we find the Kirin 710, mid-range SoC capable of grinding artificial intelligence algorithms to improve the use of the device. There are then 4 cameras (2 front and 2 rear), with shots "tracked" by the ubiquitous artificial intelligence, which will give suggestions on the best framing to take professional-level photos. In short, a noteworthy device that could overshadow, in some ways, even the recent launch of the Galaxy Note 9.

Huawei Mate 20 Lite technical specifications

Although not the top-of-the-line model, the Mate 20 Lite has respectable technical specifications. Under the 6.3-inch display with FullHD+ resolution with form ratio 19.5:9 (2340×1080 pixels) we find the aforementioned Kirin 710 (SoC developed in house by the same Chinese manufacturer), 4 gigabytes of RAM and 64 gigabytes of storage expandable with microSD card. There is no shortage of various motion sensors, fingerprint reader (located at the back of the device), 4G LTE connectivity, dual band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 and dual SIM support.
