EMUI 10.1 will be available for twenty-two smartphones from the Chinese company. Here are the models and when the update will be available
The first list of Huawei smartphones that will officially receive EMUI 10.1 was announced by the Chinese company during the presentation of the Huawei Nova 7, low-cost smartphone that in the coming months should also arrive in Italy. In previous weeks we have repeatedly talked about the Huawei smartphones that would have the update to EMUI 10.1 and now we also have an official number: twenty-two.
These are the main models released in recent years, starting with the Huawei P30 and Mate 30 up to the various models of Huawei Nova. This does not exclude that however in the coming weeks will be added to the list communicated by Huawei more smartphones, perhaps mid-range. The update to EMUI 10.1 will arrive first in China and only later in Europe. For the moment, only the beta phase has been opened to test the stability of the software: if everything goes well, the new user interface could make its debut in the Chinese territory in the coming weeks. For Italy, however, you'll have to wait a little longer.
What are the main new features of EMUI 10.1
It's not a major update, but it's not a minor one either. Compared to the classic "mid-term" updates that simply serve to fix bugs in the previous version, the update to EMUI 10.1 brings with it some interesting news, especially with regard to new applications.
As announced by Huawei, with the new version of the software will come Celia, a voice assistant that in the plans of the Chinese company will replace Google Assistant (initially it will not be available in Italy). Importante l’arrivo anche di Huawei MeeTime, app per le videochiamate molto simile a FaceTime e che sarà disponibile solo sui dispositivi dell’azienda cinese. Infine, miglioramenti generali alla stabilità del sistema operativo e a Huawei Share, l’app per condividere file.
EMUI 10.1, la lista ufficiale degli smartphone supportati
Huawei ha iniziato da oramai quasi un mese i test sulla EMUI 10.1 grazie al supporto della community che ha messo a disposizione i propri smartphone. Questo al momento vale solo per la Cina, ma i test sono in arrivo anche in Europa.
I test effettuati in Cina hanno permesso di stilare una prima lista ufficiale di dispositivi che avranno la EMUI 10.1:
