EMUI 10.1 is ready to be released in stable version for the first 6 Huawei devices: here are what they are and the main new features
After the beta phase that lasted a few weeks, Huawei is ready to release the stable version of EMUI 10.1 for the first group of smartphones. This is a total of six devices, including two top-of-the-line devices such as the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro and the brand new MatePad Pro tablet, launched to challenge the iPad Pro. On the update to EMUI 10.1 there is great attention. In fact, this is not just a transitional update, but a real update that brings with it several important new features, such as the new MeeTime video calling app and the Celia voice assistant.
The release of the update will happen progressively for the devices and before the arrival in Italy it could take some time. Per controllare se la EMUI 10.1 è disponibile sul proprio smartphone, basta accedere nelle Impostazioni del dispositivo e verificare se c’è un nuovo aggiornamento. In alternativa si può utilizzare l’app HiCare presente su tutti gli smartphone Huawei e dedicata appositamente agli aggiornamenti software e a tutte le novità.

Il rilascio della versione stabile della EMUI 10.1 parte da 6 dispositivi abbastanza recenti lanciati da Huawei. L’elenco comprende 5 smartphone e 1 tablet. Ecco la lista:
- Huawei P30
- Huawei P30 Pro
- Huawei Nova 6
- Huawei Nova 6 5G
- Huawei Nova 6 SE
- Huawei MatePad Pro.
A questi dispositivi bisogna aggiungere anche due smartphone Honor che si aggiornano all’interfaccia utente Magic UI 3.1, praticamente identica alla EMUI 10.1. These are the Honor V30 and Honor V30 Pro.

Why is there so much anticipation around the release of EMUI 10.1? Because it's not just an update that improves the stability of the system, but a real update that releases new features and makes Huawei smartphones take another step towards complete autonomy from Google services. What's new in the EMUI 10.1 update?
First and foremost are two new, very useful applications: MeeTime and Celia. MeeTime is Huawei's answer to FaceTime and all the video calling apps and will be available only to Huawei users. Celia, on the other hand, is the new voice assistant that is going to replace Google Assistant. At this early stage, however, it won't be available in Italian.
Improvements in other aspects of the smartphone as well: a Muti-windows mode that allows you to better manage apps in multitasking, new animations for the Always on Display and the dark theme that supports more third-party apps.
How to download the EMUI 10.1 update on Huawei smartphones
The update is being released and you'll have to wait a while for it to be available for everyone. To check if it's available on your smartphone you need to go into Settings, press System and then Software Update. Alternatively you can use the HiCare app present on all Huawei smartphones.
