Revolution had to be and revolution (probably) will be. Iliad, the French mobile operator, has finally presented its offers for the Italian market, confirming its reputation as a low-cost operator (without, however, compromising on quality).
During the press conference organized for the morning of today, the CEO of the company presented its development plans for the Italian market. As it was widely announced, three are the cornerstones of Iliad's offers: cheapness, transparency and truthfulness (keyword, the latter, on which the advertising campaign for the launch of Iliad tariffs was based). A philosophy that translates into the Iliad offer, the only tariff currently available: an all-inclusive pricing plan created by listening to the needs and desires of thousands and thousands of Italian users. And, given the Iliad offer price, you can bet that the Italian mobile market will be revolutionized.
Iliad offers: what does the Iliad tariff provide
As mentioned, so far the French low cost mobile operator has only one launch offer called Iliad tariff. Reserved for the first million users who request it, the phone offer includes unlimited minutes and SMS (also valid for calling 60 destinations worldwide) and 30 gigabytes in 4G+. All at a cost of 5.99 euros forever and without additional costs of any kind. As pointed out during the press conference, in fact, in the Iliad rate price are included services such as voicemail and "Call me back" (to check who called us while we were in an area not covered by the signal or engaged in another call), the ability to use the smartphone as a hotspot and tethered surfing from PC or other mobile devices. In case of travel in Europe, however, you will keep the same thresholds for calls and SMS (unlimited) while you will have available "only" 2 gigabytes for the period of stay abroad.
Probable that in the coming weeks Iliad will present other rates and offers, aimed at different types of users. As stated during the conference, it will also be possible to buy smartphones in subscription choosing from the various Samsung, Apple and others.
