The comic duo Ficarra & Picone test themselves for the first time with a TV series: what is Incastrati about and where to see it
Ficarra & Picone are ready for a new adventure with the first series written, directed and interpreted by the two comedians: Incastrati. The television series will arrive in streaming on the Netflix platform and will have as protagonists the new characters invented by the comic duo.
Salvo Ficarra and Valentino Picone are thus trying their hand at a new product for them, with the series Incastrati which is produced by Attilio De Razza for Tramp Limited and was shot entirely in Sicily. It is, of course, a comedy series consisting of 6 episodes where the comic duo plays two friends happened in the wrong place at the wrong time, just at the occurrence of a murder. As happens in their films, the initial misunderstanding will be only the first of a long chain that will be articulated during all episodes of the TV series, in which laughter is guaranteed. To see it, however, we will have to wait for the arrival on Netflix next January 1, 2022, to start the year with a full load of fun.
Incastrati: the plot
The mix of ingredients chosen by Ficarra & Picone guarantees laughter and fun. Incastrati is the story of two friends, Salvo and Valentino, who find themselves on the crime scene of an excellent murder. The two try to escape, but end up in trouble by becoming the first suspects and finding themselves dealing not only with the authorities, but also with the mafia.
The television series in 6 episodes is divided between ironic sketches and misunderstandings, typical patterns of the language of the comic duo, for a perfect comedy of misunderstandings, with the protagonists who will face surreal situations.

The cast sees in the role of Salvo and Valentino the two comedians, Salvo Ficarra and Valentino Picone, who also wrote and directed the television series.
Among the other performers of Incastrati for Netflix are Marianna di Martino (Agata Scalia), Anna Favella (Ester), Tony Sperandeo (Tonino Macaluso, known as "Cosa Inutile"), Maurizio Marchetti (Portiere Martorana), Mary Cipolla (Signora Antonietta), Domenico Centamore (Don Lorenzo, known as "Primo Sale") and Sergio Friscia (Sergione).
