Remove Driver Support - kick out the software

Even if you have not knowingly installed Driver Support, it is still possible that the software is already present on your PC or laptop. Once the program has entered your PC, you have no other option but to remove Driver Support completely.

What is Driver Support actually?

Since you usually did not install the software on your own, you may ask yourself what this program actually is before removing it. Driver Support gets onto your PC when you install another piece of software. You do not have to explicitly agree to the installation of this software, but the program sneaks in. Once Driver Support is installed, the program promises that it will detect and fix errors. The problem with this is that at first it seems to you that this service is provided for free, however, after some time you will receive a bill. In addition, the success rate of Driver Support is not proven.

How to remove Driver Support

You can easily remove the software from your PC and thus protect yourself from unexpected costs.
  1. In the beginning, you need to open the Control Panel and select the ""Programs"" (https://tipps.computerbild.de/software/was-ist-software-einfach-erklaert-426021.html) category there. Following this, select the category "Programs and Features".
  2. You will now get an overview of all installed programs. Sort them by alphabet to find the software easier.
  3. Select the program "Driver Support" and click on it. In the selection that appears, specify that the program should be removed from your PC.
  4. To complete the process, you should restart your PC.
