Asus Zenfone 6: Wallpaper - how to change it

You actually see the background of your home screen on the Asus Zenfone 6 permanently when you use the smartphone. So it is all the more important to set a background that you like or that shows a personal motif. On the Zenfone 6, this works quite easily.

1. Unlock your Zenfone 6 to get to the smartphone's home screen.
2. Tap and hold here on a free space. After that, more options open up.
3. Go to "Wallpapers".
4. Select whether you want to set a new image for the home screen, the lock screen or both.
5. Select a suitable motif from your pictures or the preset backgrounds.
6. Finally tap "Apply".

For better readability, you can additionally change the transparency of your background. When changing the image, put a check mark at "Background tint". A bar will appear that allows you to change the transparency of the image. To do this, simply move the slider in the appropriate direction.

Customize home screen: Add apps and widgets

You can further customize your home screen on the Zenfone 6 by adding apps that you use frequently. This could be the messenger WhatsApp or a widget that shows you the current weather or your calendar. To do so, tap on an empty area of the home screen and hold this for a moment. More options will appear. Go here to "Apps" or "Widgets" to add applications.
