DriveNow: Is there a minimum age? We have all the info

DriveNow is now organized through SHARE NOW. However, the service still has its own set of rules and that includes driver registration. We clarify all questions around the minimum age.

Young drivers are also welcome at DriveNow. Some specifications there are nevertheless and these refer not only to the minimum age.

DriveNow: Minimum age alone is not enough

To be able to use DriveNow, two conditions must be met:

• The minimum age is 21 years.
• In addition, the driver must have his driver's license for at least one year.

In this way, the BMW car sharing wants to increase the likelihood that drivers are neither too young nor too inexperienced. In the case of DriveNow, this is understandable, since the fleet consists primarily of premium vehicles. Insurance claims are therefore the more expensive and this should be minimized wherever possible.
