BoD gives you a platform where you can sell your eBooks at no extra cost.

At BoD, there are various options for publishing your own works. If it is only an eBook, this is particularly easy.

BoD: How to publish your own eBook

At Books on Demand you can publish your own eBook at no cost. This can be done by starting a new book project and then selecting the option "BoD E-Book" with the note "Sell E-Book":

• The creation goes through several steps. Important here is the selling price: this you must specify with at least 99 cents, the upper limit is 214, 99 euros.
• Your share of the net selling price is 80 percent if the eBook is purchased directly BoD store. Otherwise, it is 70 percent.
• In the next steps, you assign the eBook a category, create blurb texts, upload a cover and the content. This you still have to structure in the editor.
• Finally, you release the eBook.
• If it is your first book at BoD, you must also provide your bank details.

After the release, it takes a while until the eBook appears in the stores and you can sell it. This is because new works are first reviewed. If the review is successful, often you can expect twelve hours or more. However, sometimes it can be much faster.
