Surviving Mars: sequel is officially coming - we have first info

Surviving Mars quickly secured a place in the charts when it was released in March 2018. The survival strategy adventure on the red planet still counts many fans today - and now a sequel has been announced.

Surviving the Aftermath: From Mars back to Earth - but it won't be any cozier.

This one won't be set on Mars, though. Instead, the game concept of Surviving Mars will be transferred to another, no less fascinating scenario.

Surviving Mars: A sequel in a dystopian future

The location of the action is Earth - but not in the form known today.

• The title will be Surviving the Aftermath.
• As a setting serves a post-apocalyptic Earth, on which there are only remnants of modern civilization.
• Until the release it still takes a while: End of 2020 is targeted by developer Haemmimont Games and publisher Paradox Interactive.
• Still in 2019, the game should go into the Early Access phase. This will take place exclusively at Epic Games.
• For the final release, however, Surviving the Aftermath will also be available on Steam.
