Origin: Redeem Code - how to activate your games

With Origin you have access to all games developed and published by EA. Through the platform, you can purchase and download the games. You also redeem codes that you have received from another source through the website or client. These are then added to your library.

How to redeem a code at Origin

Having received a product code from an external source, you can redeem it either through the Origin website or the client. The game will then be added to your library and can then be downloaded through the client. For some games, redeeming product codes and additional content is not possible through the client or the website. In this case, you will need to go to the game's corresponding website.

1. If you would like to redeem the code via the website, first open the Origin page and log in with your EA credentials.
2. Use the menu to then go to "My Games Library".
3. Hier wählen Sie oben rechts die Option „Spiel hinzufügen“ aus.
4. Klicken Sie anschließend auf „Produktcode einlösen“.
5. Geben Sie nun Ihren Produktcode ein und bestätigen Sie diesen über die Schaltfläche „Weiter“.
6. Der Code kann auch über den Client eingelöst werden. Melden Sie sich auch hier mit Ihrem EA-Konto an und gehen Sie auf „Spiele“ > „Produktcode einlösen“.
