Honor View 20: Change icons - how it works

To personalize your Honor View 20, the device offers you some customization options like changing the icons. Besides changing the arrangement of the app icons on the home screen, changes to the design of the icons are also possible. Get an overview of how this works exactly.

How to change the design of the icons on the Honor View 20

If you do not like the icons of your apps, it is possible to change them. If the apps are standard apps that are already factory-installed on the Honor View 20, customizing the app icons is possible via the Design app.

1. To set a new design for your app icons, first open the Design app on the Honor View 20.
2. In the app, then navigate to "Account" > "Customize" > "Icons" and select one from the already pre-installed icon designs.
3. If you do not find any of the existing designs that you like, you can find more free and paid designs for download in the Honor Designstore.
4. Once you have selected a design, tap "Apply" to confirm the change of the icons.

In addition to changing the appearance of the app icons, you can also adjust the arrangement of the icons on the home screen. These are arranged in a 4x6 grid by default, but you can also arrange them in a 5x5 or 5x6 grid. To change the arrangement of the app icons, please open the "Settings", go to "Home Screen & Background" > "Home Screen Settings" > "Layout" and select a grid layout.
