Whenever a new iOS update is released, you can install it manually on your iPhone. In doing so, you download the update directly from your device or through iTunes. Usually, the update enhances the device's features or fixes security vulnerabilities.

How to install an iOS update on your iPhone

If you want to install the latest iOS update on your iPhone, you have different options. Either you install the update directly via the corresponding device or via iTunes. If you do not want to install the update manually each time, you can enable the option "Automatic Updates" under "Software Update" in the settings.

1. If you want to install the update directly from the device, it must be connected to a Wi-Fi network.
